Torre text updates: SMS terms and privacy
The program
Torre Labs, Inc. ("Torre", "we") sends text messages (SMS) about its Regulation Crowdfunding offering to people who ask for them. This notice explains how the program works and how we treat the information you give us for it. It applies to the "Torre text updates" program only. Torre's general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to everything else; where they differ about text messaging, this notice governs the text program.
How you opt in
You opt in by entering your mobile phone number in the "Mobile phone number" field of the form at invest.torre.ai/text-updates and submitting it. The form states, next to the field, that by adding your number you agree to receive SMS from Torre about this offering. We do not collect mobile numbers for this program any other way, and we do not enroll numbers we did not receive from you.
What we send, and how often
- A confirmation when you sign up.
- A notice when the offering opens.
- A few updates while the offering is open: progress, materials worth reading, and reminders before the terms change or the offering closes.
Message frequency varies. Expect a few messages while the round is open, and at most one or two per week. Message and data rates may apply. Messages come from a Torre Labs, Inc. number and start with "Torre.ai:".
How to stop, and how to get help
Reply STOP to any message to end the texts. You will receive one confirmation and nothing more. Reply START to resubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or visit invest.torre.ai. Opting out of texts does not affect any other relationship you have with Torre.
Privacy for the text program
What we collect. Your first and last name, email address and mobile phone number as you entered them, the date and time you opted in, the messages we sent you and their delivery status, and any replies you send to our number (for example STOP or HELP).
How we use it. Only to run this program: to send the messages described above, to honor your opt-out, to keep a record of your consent, and to comply with the law and with carrier rules.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or your messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Service providers. We use a messaging provider (Twilio Inc.) to deliver the texts and to receive your replies. It processes your number and messages only to provide that service to us, and mobile carriers process them to deliver the messages. We do not permit any of them to use your information for their own marketing.
Retention. We keep your number, your consent record and the message log for as long as the program runs and afterwards as required by law and to prove your consent or your opt-out. After you reply STOP we keep your number only to make sure we do not text you again.
Your choices. Stop the texts at any time by replying STOP. To ask about the information we hold for this program, contact us through invest.torre.ai or the channels in Torre's general Privacy Policy.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice. Texts may not be available in every country or on every carrier.
